A blog for and by a group of certifiable and committed cyclists (aka, Cyclopaths) from the Puyallup, Tacoma, and Seattle area. Follow The Puyallup Cyclopaths' adventures as they ride in the mountains of the Northwest and beyond.
Al's is a convenience store along our regular Gig Harbor route. We stop almost every ride for fueling and defueling tasks. Mike also made note of a sign over the door alerting us to the presence of a garden. Maybe we'll step in during our next ride.
It's not always wise to let Dwaine talk the group into trying out new shortcuts. This one included mud, hike-a-bike, and some gravel roading. All riders escaped unharmed and Dwaine's Cyclopath membership card has not yet been revoked.
I asked the guys for a photo as the sun bathed both the riders and bridges. Although not warm, our Friday Ride started with clear skies and promises of no rain. The photographer would like to thank Mike and Les for their patience while the photographer twiddled the knobs and dials to create his art.
Mike wanted to compose an image that include the Twin Narrows bridges. Dwaine and Les were willing to oblige. As usual Les is a team player and Dwaine is a jokester. Big thanks to Mike for helping out with photoduty.
